這是一本由童謠所改編而成的繪本，故事由老太太吞了一隻蒼蠅開始便沒完沒了。
一開始老太太只是吞了隻蒼蠅，為了抓蒼蠅她又吞了隻蜘蛛。
結果吞了隻蜘蛛，她又得吞隻鳥來抓蜘蛛。
但是吞了鳥之後，她又吞了隻貓來抓鳥兒。
為了抓貓，吞了狗；為了抓狗，吞了隻牛（牛會抓狗嗎？ＸＤＤＤ）
最後吞了隻馬，然後呢？
當然就死啦！吞了那麼多東西，還能不被撐死嗎？
我覺得滿有趣的，所以上網去找了童謠的歌詞來看看：

我搜尋這首歌的歌詞時發現其實也有不同版本的，就是增加了幾種動物或是當中的幾個動物被換成別的動物。

這首童謠從開始到結尾都令人覺得很無厘頭。
而且我不知道作者是不是故意把老太太畫得很瘋瘋癲癲的樣子（她的眼睛）好讓這個故事看起來不會不合理（？）
這老太太還好不是吞一頭獅子，因為她還沒吞獅子之前，大概會先被獅子給吞了XD
